Colomba di Pasqua
This traditional Italian dove bread is baked at Easter. In Italy, Colomba di Pasqua literally translates to “Easter Dove". It is a symbol for peace and the Holy Spirit on Easter. Italians like to have it with their breakfast and a coffee, but we just like to enjoy it whilst sipping on a sparkling Prosecco. This rich and fluffy cake is buttery and sweet with light hints of acidity, best enjoyed toasted with fresh berries.
