Carmen’s Chickpea Brownies

This delicious snack is gluten free and easy to make.


  • 265g Dark Chocolate
  • 200g White Chocolate
  • 570g Chickpeas (tinned or cooked)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 150g Caster Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 200g Walnuts or Peanuts

  1. Drain chickpeas and combine with eggs in a blender or thermomix
  2. Melt white and dark chocolate over boiling water
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well
  4. Spread evenly into lined tray with baking paper
  5. Cook for 1 hour at 140 degrees
