COVID-19 Store Update

In response to the outbreak of COVID-19, we want to reassure our customers that we are taking many preventative measures to ensure the health and wellbeing of all. We're taking extra steps to ensure our store is a clean and hygienic environment. This includes increasing regular cleaning and sanitisation of high-touch areas including counters, baskets and trolleys. We have also introduced sanitising stations around the store and cashless lanes. Our employees will continue to observe our strict food handling and hygiene practices with respect to handwashing and remaining at home if unwell.
We will continue to strive to do our best to keep serving you throughout this evolving event. While we see no unmanageable risk to the food supply system in Australia at present, we may experience product shortages in the short term due to increase in demand. We are working closely with our suppliers to manage the situation as best we can and would appreciate your understanding as we work through temporary product shortages. To improve availability, we are temporarily reducing trading hours to 7am to 6pm to give our team members time to extensively clean the store and replenish the shelves before we reopen. During this challenging time, our usual standard of service and quality may also be impacted. We appreciate your patience if you experience longer wait times or find that we are unable to assist you as quickly as usual. We are working hard to try and maintain service levels while ensuring everyone's safety and wellbeing. For the health and safety of our staff and other customers, we ask that you refrain from shopping in store if you are feeling unwell or may have been in contact with an unwell person. We also ask customers to continue to respect, show compassion and support our team members during this unprecedented period, particularly if a product is unavailable or if the checkout queues are longer than normal.
